The Cottage

The cottage was built during Victorian times, along with its immediate neighbours, to house craftsmen for a local shipbuilder who operated out of Porlock Weir.

Furnished to a very high standard, the cottage has two double bedrooms, a lounge and dining room, as well as a good-sized kitchen. There is a garden with decking area at the back of the cottage, and the village recreation ground, with tennis courts and a children's playground, is just a minute's walk away. It is situated in a quiet location, but within sight of the village high street, with its pubs, restaurants and quaint local shops.

The property is perfect for couples and families looking for a break in the glorious countryside of Exmoor, and is ideally placed to venture out to the seaside resorts of Minehead and Ilfracombe.
